I feel so lucky to be surrounded by the hills and villages I love. The area provides an endless source of subject matter. I have always enjoyed painting, particularly watercolour landscapes and townscapes, obtaining inspiration from the Pennine moors, villages, towns where I have grown up. I am constantly getting fresh inspiration from unexpected areas and hopefully you will see my interpretation of this.
